16 Mar Why Rosemount MN is a City on the Rise
Rosemount recently acquired 27+ Acres from the Umore Park land to develop city parks and recreation facilities. Rosemount city officials have developed and passed the Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan. Rosemount is on the Eastern edge of the area known as South of the River. Development came slowly to Rosemount, partly because the Umore Park holds a large portion of land and partly because the Metropolitan Airport Commission used to hold land in the area with plans to build a satellite airport. The MAC has since dropped the plans for a satellite airport.
Rosemount did go through a rapid development phase in the mid 2000’s. The beautiful Neighborhood of Evermore was built during that phase and there is still some New Construction properties being built in Rosemount in 2011.
Development of Great City Parkland, Trails and Recreation Facilities will benefit the Homeowners of Rosemount. The values of area homes are always bolstered by strong Parks and Trails, Nearby Recreation Facilities, Well Respected School Systems and Easy Commute Routes! The sale of Rosemount Homes will reflect from these long range improvements, especially as the overall Real Estate Market improves.
