Summertime Fun in Lake City!

Lake City is located about 65 miles south of the Twin Cities in the scenic Mississippi Bluffs Region. It is situated along the shores of Lake Pepin, which is 21 miles long and is the widest spot on the Mississippi River.

Lake City is a haven for summer tourists and offers an abundance of outdoor recreational activities! It is known for being the “Birthplace of Water Skiing” and is an excellent place for all type of water sports. Each June they hold their annual Water Ski Days, which is fun for all ages! This festival includes water skiing exhibitions, live music, carnival, arts & crafts show, food, a parade, and much more!
