Looking back, it’s clear I became a Realtor in the third grade, I just didn’t know it then!
I have a very clear memory of going to a Birthday Party for a girl in my third grade class. My mother drove me to the party and when we arrived, we both gasped slightly. The Home was a magnificent white, 2-Story Colonial with Columns!
When the party ended, parents were picking up their daughters on the long, circular driveway and there was the typical chatter, “Did you have fun? Did she like the present? Was there cake and ice cream?”
When I opened my Mother’s car door, the first words she said were, “Honey, is that window the Living Room or the Dining Room?” as she pointed to one of the front windows.
We sat in the driveway of that beautiful home and I pointed out which windows corresponded to which rooms in the home. I d escribed the décor, space and floor plan of the entire house.
I was able to do this because, as an 8 year old kid, I snuck away from the party for my first ever, Real Estate Tour!

I graduated from the University of Michigan, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Business Administration. The BBA degree provides valuable Marketing, Management, Accounting, Finance and Sales skills which I employ everyday to Sell Homes and Manage the Closing Process.
During the late 1990′s I gained vaulable Teaching Experience at the Twin Cities premiere Real Estate Licensing School, then called Prosource. The courses I taught focused on Real Estate Financing, Writing the Purchase Agreement and the Elements of a Home Valuation.

Personal Background
I grew up moving around the Midwest, living in North Dakota, Illinois, and Michigan. Relocating so often has given me a unique understanding of the challenges and rewards you face when moving your family to a new city. Working with incoming transfering buyers is always a pleasure.
During college I waited tables and saved for my dream of traveling to see the world. After graduation, I set off with a one way ticket to Europe and traveled for more than 2 years, learning and exploring everything possible. This was a fabulous, once in a lifetime experience and I returned with the best souvenir of all, my husband of 23 years. We have lived in Minnesota, in the South of the River, area for 21 years and have 3 adult children, now ages 19, 20, and 21.
